Seasonal Specialities at the Copperleaf Cafe

The holiday season is a time to eat, drink and be merry. There’s no harm in indulging in some of the finer things in life, and that includes the delicious festive food on offer at the Copperleaf Café. To give the family chef (whoever she or he may be!) a well-earned break, we’ve added some seasonal specialities to our menu from now until the end of the year. Oh, and did we mention that they’re on offer at some very special prices?

The upmarket Copperleaf Café is renowned for its relaxing atmosphere and views out over the golf course and the majestic Magaliesberg.

From now until the end of the year, there are even more great reasons to come and enjoy a lunch or dinner with us. We’ve added some extra festive cheer to our already excellent menu, and these Christmas-inspired dishes are now on offer at some temptingly low prices.

Give in to the temptation, and let us give you and your family a meal to remember!

How about hearty Berlin-style ox liver with sliced apple, fried onions and a red wine jus, served with mash – and a healthy fresh side salad so you can get a head start on your New Year’s resolution? At just R65, it’s a gift.

Or enjoy a very berry Christmas with our decadent “deconstructed” Pavlova, served with fruit and yoghurt ice cream. After a long year in the office, or even a long round, this could well be your just desserts. With this smashing sweet costing just R39 per portion, you’ll want to be present when we serve it.

While sadly we can’t enjoy a snowy, white Christmas here in Gauteng, we can enjoy all the trimmings of colder climes. How about splashing out a mere R65 for our ho-ho-holiday sweet treat, the eggnog sundae? It’s just as delicious the other six days of the week, too!

Speaking of days, now that we’ve whetted your appetites, we wanted to let you know about the Copperleaf Café’s seasonal opening and closing dates and times.

We’ll be operating as follows throughout the holiday period:

Monday – Thursday: 06h30 – 20h00

Friday – Saturday: 06h30 – 22h00

Sunday: 06h30 – 19h00

Please note that even Santa’s little helpers and chefs have to be a tiny bit “elfish” and take some time off from cooking, to enjoy Christmas themselves. All of which means that the following exceptions will apply:

On Christmas Eve, 24 December, the Copperleaf Café will close at 14h00 and reopen on the 26 December.

Similarly, on New Year’s Eve we’ll be closed from 14h00, re-opening on 2 January to get 2017 off to a delightful and delicious start.
