Valentine’s Day Dinner follow-up
Valentine’s Day is an important date for any couple, and at the Copperleaf Café we wanted to do our bit to create the perfect romantic ambience for all our guests. The delicious food and wine seems to have made quite an impact on everyone who experienced it – we just hope they didn’t neglect their partners while they were sending us their feedback on our Valentine’s Day Dinner! We were thrilled to hear that we helped make this a wonderful day for so many people…
The Copperleaf Café team really pushed the love boat out when it came to our Valentine’s Day Dinner. We knew how much this occasion would mean to all our guests, and our team of magic makers (led by Sous Chef Lebogang Komane) turned on the style with genuine passion.
Their reward was the hush that fell over the Copperleaf Café as diners enjoyed the delicious three-course dinner. Eyes (and maybe the occasional engagement ring!) sparkled in the candlelight, and sweet nothings were whispered.
The inclusion in the price of a bottle of red or white Ernie Els Clubhouse Selection per couple helped make the mood even more special. Our team outdid themselves by providing something more than a 5* experience, and Lebogang’s hard work in the kitchen resulted in some divine dishes such as red velvet brownie served with a strawberry cream cheese icing. Try eating that without being smooth and sweet!

Reuben told us that the entire evening had gone down seamlessly, and he loved the meal he described as ‘done to perfection for a decent price’. He told us that the ‘menu was the real star’ (of course we know the identity of the star who created this stellar menu!).
Sandra meanwhile had a ‘lovely evening’ (thanks Sandra – we did too!). She described the food, service and atmosphere as ‘perfect’ and you can imagine just how rewarding and motivating it is for the Copperleaf Café team to receive such warm and genuine feedback.
Last but not least, we were delighted to hear from George that he and his wife had really enjoyed their three-course dinner with the bottle of red wine, and he’s already looking forward to our next special dinner event.
As well as all the positive comments on our Valentine’s Day Dinner, we also received some great suggestions for how we could make things even better next time around. We love this sort of input as it shows us how much our guests care about Copperleaf Café and the great experiences we can make possible for them.
